National Safeguarding Adults week 2026 (16th - 19th November)
Safeguarding Adults Week 2026. Call to action!
Ann Craft Trust – Safeguarding Adults Week Activity 2026 – Every Voice Every Choice

Safeguarding Adults Week is a time for organisations to come together to raise awareness of important safeguarding issues. We believe that working in partnerships allows us to share our knowledge of safeguarding, learn from others, and work towards creating safer cultures. During this year’s event, we’ll be collaborating with our partners to explore a different safeguarding theme each day.
By prioritising choice, safeguarding can become more preventative, build trust, and empower individuals. Our focus this year is on how co-production is central to safeguarding adults. We’ll explore how a collaborative approach aligns closely with key principles of the Care Act 2014, such as empowerment and prevention. A key theme is Making Safeguarding Personal, which prioritises the outcomes for the individuals. It’s all about giving people a voice, and making it their choice as to what happens, and what makes them feel safe.
